My Story
Hi, I’m Debbie Wills, and I’m excited to share my journey with you. I started my career at 16 as an apprentice in the hospitality sector, where I worked my way through various roles, including receptionist, housekeeper, waitress, and bartender. Over the course of seven years, I gained a wealth of experience in customer service, which taught me the value of hard work, communication, and attention to detail.
After leaving hospitality, I transitioned to a role as a business support assistant at the local council. While I gained valuable administrative and organisational skills, I eventually realized that I wanted to pursue something more entrepreneurial. That’s when I made the leap into property investment and met my incredible business partner, Joe. Together, we’ve built a successful portfolio of properties across the country, specialising in rent-to-rent and property sourcing. Along the way, we became CPD-certified property mentors, and we’ve had the privilege of helping over 60 people start their own property businesses.
Alongside my career, I’ve always had a passion for learning. I’ve studied accountancy, business, event planning, and counselling, and I’m currently taking on a plumbing bootcamp. I believe in constantly expanding my knowledge and skillset, as it not only helps me grow but also equips me to mentor others effectively. In fact, I’ve always enjoyed training and mentoring new staff in my previous jobs, so it felt like a natural transition when Joe and I began mentoring others in the property industry.
Looking back, my journey has been full of challenges and exciting opportunities, but it’s all led me to where I am today—managing a diverse property portfolio, mentoring aspiring property entrepreneurs, and always learning something new. I’m passionate about helping others unlock their potential and achieve success, and I’m excited to continue growing both personally and professionally.
